CodeShield 1.0 is a first-of-its-kind cybersecurity hackathon where teams build real, deployable solutions against today’s most pressing cyber threats—phishing, ransomware, data breaches, identity theft, and more.

Project CyberShield is a flagship initiative of Naksh Foundation — a registered non-profit dedicated to educating and empowering students to navigate the digital world safely. Everything you need to know

CodeShield 1.0 is open to anyone across India. You can participate individually or in teams of up to three members.
Build cybersecurity solutions against cyber criminals. Participants must build tools, platforms, or systems that detect, prevent, or mitigate real-world cyber attacks — including phishing, ransomware, identity theft, malware, and data breaches.
CodeShield 1.0 is a fully online event. Participants can join from anywhere, collaborate remotely, and submit their solutions digitally.
Any programming language, framework, or platform is allowed. Open-source libraries are encouraged. AI-assisted tools are permitted with proper disclosure.
Projects are evaluated on Cybersecurity Impact & Relevance (35%), Technical Implementation (25%), Innovation (20%), and Presentation & Demo Quality (20%) by a jury of cybersecurity professionals and faculty.
A working demo, a GitHub repository with a clear README, a 3-minute video pitch, and a project deck (max 8 slides). Full guidelines will be shared with all registered participants on May 10, 2026.
Registration fees for CodeShield 1.0 are non-refundable. Once registered, no cancellation or refund requests will be entertained.
Team member changes are not allowed once the registration form submitted.
